Annie Inez Newsome, 89, of Star Route, a homemaker, died Jan. 20, 1995, in Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
Mrs. Newsome was born in Hertford County, N.C., and was a member of Harrellsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Ruth Butler and Willie Mae Nutter, both of Roanoke Villa Nursing Home, Rich Square; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in Hilcrest Cemetery, Colerain, by the Rev. Tony Capehart. The family will receive friends at Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today and will assemble at the funeral home at noon Sunday prior to services.
