Rosa A. ``Deno'' Coley Pierce, 70, died Jan. 19, 1995, in her home.
Mrs. Pierce was born in Nash County, N.C, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, N.C. She was the widow of Roy Seward Pierce and was retired from Holiday Inn as a front desk manager.
Survivors include two sisters, Lottie Strickland and Frances Edwards, both of Rocky Mount, N.C.; a brother and sister-in-law, Willard and Iolene Parker of Norfolk; and several nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Rosa Parker of Rocky Mount.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. today in Holly Lawn Cemetery by Pastor James E. Womble. The family will receive friends in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 10 to 10:30 a.m. today.
