Annie W. Bloxsom, 89, a retired civil service employee after 20 years, died Jan. 19, 1995, in The Pines Nursing Home in Williamsburg.
Mrs. Bloxsom was a resident of Norfolk for over 60 years. She was a native of Washington, N.C. She was the widow of Norman A. Bloxsom and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolin Shoosmith of Williamsburg; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, by Dr. J. Shepherd Russell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
