King's Grant Elementary School recently welcomed Lt. Susan Still to
share lunch, reading and motivational talks with students. Still was
recently chosen for the NASA space shuttle program and will leave in
March for training. Since January is Reading Month, Still shared a
favorite childhood story with second-graders. She also spoke to
third-, fourth- and fifth-graders at assemblies. Stephanie Calway,
above, a student in Faye Payton's second-grade class, seems
spellbound by Still's storytelling.
