HELEN B. HOLLAND

Helen Bogart Holland, 76, died Jan. 21, 1995, in Suffolk.

Mrs. Holland was born in Franklin, Va. She was a member of West End Baptist Church in Suffolk, attended Virginia Intermont College, was past president of Westover Garden Club and the Junior Volunteer Service Corp., a volunteer member of the Suffolk Red Cross and a member of the Suffolk Art League, Princess Anne Country Club and Cedar Point Country Club. She was the widow of Carlyle Peerman Holland, Jr.

Survivors include a daughter, Greta Ann Holland of Atlanta, Ga.; three sons, C. Peerman Holland, III, and William Bogart Holland, both of Virginia Beach, and David L. Holland of Suffolk; and seven grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Lydia Owens Bogart and William Oswald Bogart.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. T. Floyd Irby and Dr. Donald J. Dunlap. Hill Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Visitation will be at the home of David L. Holland, 800 Riverview Drive, Suffolk, Va., Jan. 22, 1995, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers make a donation to C.P. Holland, Jr. Scholarship Fund, VMI, Box 932, Lexington, Va. 24450 or Helen B. Holland Early School Bldg. Fund, Nansemond Suffolk Academy, 3373 Pruden Blvd., Suffolk, Va. 23434.
