BRADSHAW WATFORD

Bradshaw Watford, 80, of 230 Bud Taylor Road died Friday, January 20, 1995, at 11:35 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Watford was a native of Bertie County, N.C., retired longshoreman from Philadelphia, Pa., and an Army veteran of World War II. He was the son of the late Granville Watford and Mamie Horton Watford.

Survivors include a brother, Arthur James Watford Sr. of Colerain.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, Highway (NU)561, Harrellsville, N.C. Burial will be in Watford Family Cemetery, Colerain, with military rites by the Linton J. Sutton American Legion Post (NU)223 of Elizabeth City, N.C. A wake will be held Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at New Bethany Missionary Baptist Church.
