ANTHONY J. BENINATO

Mr. Anthony J. Beninato, age 85, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 1995, in Virginia Beach General Hospital, Virginia Beach.

Mr. Beninato was born in Manhattan, N.Y., and moved to Williamsburg where he founded along with his sons, A J Beninato and Sons Moving and Storage, a franchise for Southeastern Virginia of North American Van Lines, Inc., until he retired. Mr. Beninato was a resident of Williamsburg until moving the company headquarters to Norfolk in 1964.

He is survived by his son, Vincent N. Beninato and his wife, Barbara, both of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren, Clark A. Beninato of Richmond, Ky., Terri B. Lyles of LaGrange, Texas, Misty L. Beninato and Gina G. Beninato, both of Virginia Beach, and Jill K. Beninato of Baltimore, Md.; three great-grandchildren, Joshua Lyles, Zachary Lyles and Paris Beninato.

Services will be private and burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Bucktrout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
