Esther Gordon, 86, of the 6400 block of Auburn Drive, died January 22, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Gordon was a native of Wilkesbarre, Pa. and a resident of Tidewater for more than 60 years. She was the widow of Sidney Gordon. Mrs. Gordon, along with her husband, owned and operated the Gordon Pharmacy in Norfolk from 1955 to 1978. She was a former member of Congregation Beth El.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan L. Posner of Manhasset, N.Y.; a son, Phillip R. Gordon, M.D. of San Francisco, Calif.; three grandchildren, Gordon Posner, Barbara Berman and Will Gordon and two great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Brittany Berman.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon today in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Samuel Sobel. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
