CLARA J. THOMPSON

Clara Josephine Thompson, 97, died Monday, Jan. 23, 1995, in a Norfolk health care center.

She was born in Danville, Ill., and was the widow of Frank D. Thompson.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha A. Parker of Norfolk; two granddaughters, Elisa P. Harres of Dayton, Tenn., and Mary D. Glynn of Virginia Beach; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Friday at 4 p.m. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Fr. Hugh C. White III. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
