LUCILLE P. REGULA

Lucille Phipps Regula, 79, of the 200 block of Lumar Road, a retired salesperson, died Jan. 23, 1995, in Smithfield.

Mrs. Regula was born in Fletcher, N.C., and was the widow of Leon Regula. She was retired from Smith & Welton. She was a member of DeBaun Baptist Church of Chesapeake and the Roaring Twenties Senior Citizen Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Edith Regula of Norfolk and Jean Leavengood of Boca Raton, Fla.; a son, Ronald L. Regula of Suffolk; four sisters, Lillian Phipps of Asheville, N.C., Lorraine Davenport of Virginia Beach, Martha Patterson of Franklin, Va., and Eunice Staton of Hendersonville, N.C.; three brothers, Tom Phipps of Detroit, Ernest Phipps of Asheville, N.C., and David Phipps of Hampton; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Donald Joyner. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
