Dora P. Studyvent, 88, of the 1400 block of Bond St., died Jan. 20, 1995, in Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Virginia Beach.
She was born in Coinjock, N.C., and was a retired homemaker and widow of Benjamin Studyvent. She was a member of Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church, the Missionary Society, Chancel Choir and Altar Guild. She was the daughter of the late Aurova D. and Lemuel Patterson.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greater Metropolitan AME Zion Church by the Rev. Thomas E. Tucker Jr. Burial will be in the family plot in Coinjock, N.C. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will assemble at 901 Hanson Ave.
