Thelma P. Wall, 72, of the 1300 block of Sparrow Road, died Jan. 23, 1995, in her residence.
Mrs. Wall, a Baptist, was born in Tunis, N.C., and was the widow of Charles L. Wall. She was known for her handmade quilts.
Survivors include a son, Charles Richard Wall of Virginia Beach; a sister, Margie Babb of Suffolk; two granddaughters, Thersea Steffilla and Heather Michelle Wall; and a great-grandson, Shawon Shreaves.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, by the Rev. Howard L. Bass. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
