Audrey Gannaway Cook, 87, formerly of E. Tyler Crescent, died Jan. 23, 1995, in a nursing care center.
Mrs. Cook, a native of Lynchburg, Va., was the widow of Eugene ``Gene'' F. Cook. They were the former owners and operators of Gene Cook Cleaners.
Survivors include a daughter, Sarah A. Moss of Bethesda, Md.; a son, Gene F. Cook Jr. of Suffolk; a sister, Emma Ledbetter of Richmond; a brother, Dalton Gannaway of Laurel, Md.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Olive Branch Cemetery by Dr. Robert V. Forehand. Foster Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Portsmouth Lions Club, P.O. Box 877 Portsmouth, Va. 23705.
