ERNEST EPPS

Ernest Epps of the 900 block of Duce St., a retired pipe fitter, died Jan. 22, 1995, in Maryview Medical Center.

Mr. Epps was born in Norfolk and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 26 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include a daughter, Valeska Ruffin of Portsmouth; two sisters, Carrie E. Myles of Norfolk and Hattie Williams of Portsmouth; five nieces; four nephews; and cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. Rudolph L. Perry. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake, with military honors. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
