COCAINE ARREST

The drug war is getting dirtier.

The Eastern Shore Drug Task Force and Accomack County Sheriff's Department reported finding cocaine in a septic tank early Sunday morning after searching the residence of Herbert L. Snead, 36, of Parksley.

Sheriff Robert Crockett said Tuesday that police entered Snead's home and found Snead in the bathroom flushing what appeared to be cocaine down the toilet. Officers then opened the septic tank and found an undetermined amount of cocaine, the sheriff said.

Snead was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Police also confiscated $1,000 in cash from Snead's home.
