Dorothy Culpepper Olson, 83, of the 100 block of Maryland Ave., died Jan. 24, 1995, in a Houston, Texas, hospital.
Mrs. Olson, a native of Norfolk County, was a member of Sweethaven Baptist Church in Portsmouth.
Survivors include two daughters, Karin O. Smith of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Marilyn O. Figueriedo of Houston; two sisters, Elizabeth C. Brown of Portsmouth and Emogene C. Cook of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Joseph F. Culpepper of Portsmouth; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Sweethaven Baptist Church by the Rev. Lew Hunter and the Rev. Tom Potter. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be sent to the Sweethaven Baptist Church Building Fund.
