Ruth T. Parkerson, 82, died Jan. 24, 1995, in Hampton.
She was the widow of Hubert J. Parkerson. Survivors include a son, Charles Parkerson of Rescue, Va.; daughter, Ann P. Higginbotham of Duluth, Ga.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 28, at 11 a.m. at Beaver Hill Cemetery in Edenton, N.C.
