Katie Wrenn Gwaltney, 93, died Jan. 24, 1995.
She is survived by three sons, Gerald T. Gwaltney and Charles E. Gwaltney, both of Chesapeake, Jerry L. Gwaltney of Waynesboro; two sisters, Eunice Robertson and Susie Mae Chambliss; two brothers, Robert and Ira Wrenn, all of Emporia; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. at the Echols Funeral Home Chapel, Emporia, with interment in the Fountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Emporia. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
