Nathan W. Sanders, 79, of the 700 block of Madison St., died Jan. 23, 1995, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Mr. Sanders was born in Clayton, N.C., and was retired from Baugh & Sons after 21 years. He was a member and deacon of St. John Holiness Independent Church of the Everlasting Saints.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia V. Sanders; three sisters, Louise Johnson, Pauline Sanders and Lillian Mabrey; a brother, Thomas Sanders; sister-in-law, Mercedes Sanders; brother-in-law, Thurston Mabrey; sister-in-law, Mary Hawkins; special niece, Elsie Harris; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Twine Memorial Holy Temple by Bishop James H. Powell. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake.
