Earl Milten Hampel, 74, of the 4100 block of N. Witchduck Road, a retired Oceana electronics engineer, died Jan. 25, 1995, in his residence.
Mr. Hampel was born in Scotia, N.Y. He retired from civil service.
Survivors include two daughters, Alma Marie Remian of Virginia Beach and Dawna Gayle Canaday of Port Haywood, Va.; two sons, Kenneth Earl Hampel and Earl Milten Hampel Jr., both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Lois Kramer of Florida; a brother, Bruce Hampel of Ogden, Utah; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood. Burial will be private. The family will be at the funeral home to receive friends following the service.
