Marquise D. Whitfield, 6, of the 600 block of DeKalb Ave., died Jan. 23, 1995, in Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, Norfolk.
He was born in Portsmouth.
Survivors include his parents, Sandra Whitfield and Vernon Harrell; two brothers, Derreak Whitfield and Deonte Whitfield; and maternal grandparents, Mildred Waters and Gregory Waters, all of Portsmouth; three aunts; and one uncle.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. Herman Williams. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
