Lists of property crimes and robberies in the city are provided to The Clipper by Chesapeake Police. They are printed on a space-available basis and include the address at which the crime occurred, the missing items and the approximate date. For robberies, a description of suspects also is provided.

Commercial burglary, 3400 block of S. Military Highway, Carriage Auto Sales. Missing: kerosene heater, TV, vehicle battery, floor buffer, pump pistol and hand tools. Between Dec. 22 and Jan. 3.

Residential burglary, 1100 block of Woodland Terrace. Nothing reported missing. Jan. 4.

Grand larceny, 1200 block of Gallop Ave. Missing: video cassette recorder and a monitor. Jan. 4 or 5.

Strong-armed robbery, 1400 block of 22nd St. While the victim was riding his bicycle in the parking lot, four suspects demanded that the victim give them his bike. When he refused, the victim was shoved off, and the bike was taken. The suspects were all black males, about 17. All wore dark clothing and ski masks. Jan. 6.

Residential burglary, 3100 block of Kemet Road. Missing: video game and four cassettes. Jan. 6.

Residential burglary, 3100 block of Kemet Road. Missing: compact disk player, equalizer, tape deck, two speakers, amplifier, video cassette recorder, either compact disks and clothing. Jan. 7.

Residential burglary, 2600 block of Harling Drive. Missing: two video cassette recorders. Jan. 8.

Commercial burglary, 600 block of Liberty St., Denneti Fashions Unlimited. Missing: a gold/black men's two-piece suit and five multicolored skirts. Jan. 6 or 7.

Robbery, 1100 block of Volvo Parkway, Unimart. While the clerk rang up his purchase, the suspect pulled handgun and demanded ``give me all your money.'' Description of suspect: black female, 30s, 5-feet-5-inches, 140 pounds, medium build, wore black pants and a black hooded sweat shirt. Jan. 4.

Grand larceny, 400 block of Oakgate Road. Missing: 25 sheets 3/4-inch plywood. Between Dec. 31 and Jan. 2.

Grand larceny, 2700 block of Blacksmith Trail. Missing: test weight kit, three tool boxes containing tools, two test weights and a hand truck. Jan. 3 or 4.

Grand larceny, 900 block of Greenbrier Parkway, city garage. Missing: military boots, slim jim, K-Bar knife, two rolls crime scene tape, hammer, ax, hand tools, traffic cone and plaster casting material. Between Dec. 29 and Jan. 4.

Petty larceny, 1400 block of Greenbrier Parkway. Missing: 15 cassette tapes. Jan. 5.

Strong-armed robbery, 1400 block of Greenbrier Parkway. While walking toward his vehicle, the victim was struck in the face several times, and knocked to the ground. Then the suspects demanded his wallet. Description of the suspects: two black males. One of them was 5-feet-9 inches, medium build, wore a dark jacket with camouflage pants and a knit hat. Jan. 7.

Residential burglary, 2700 block of Horseshoe Drive. Missing: Nikon camera with zoom lens, filter, camera strap and a bottle of Drakkar Noir cologne. Jan. 6.

Residential burglary, 1500 block of Lilac Ave. Missing: 9mm Beretta, one Colt 45, 38 revolver and $150. Jan. 7.

Grand larceny, 1600 block of Laurel Ave. Nothing reported missing. Jan. 8.

Petty larceny, 700 block of Greenbrier Parkway. Missing: car phone, purse, tote bag, $10 and credit cards. Jan. 6 or 7.

Petty larceny, 1300 block of Price Court. Missing: purse containing credit cards. Jan. 6 or 7.

WESTERN BRANCH BOROUGH

(Suburban area west of Portsmouth)

Armed robbery, 4400 block of Taylor Road. While the victims were walking, a compact vehicle pulled alongside and five black males got out of the vehicle, struck two victims and demanded money. Dec. 28.

Armed robbery, 4200 block of Taylor Road. When the victim saw to males approaching, he started to run. The suspects caught him and demanded money. Description of suspects: No. 1, black male, 18, 6-feet, medium build. No. 2, black male, 18, 6-feet. Dec. 28.

Grand larceny, 4100 block of Portsmouth Blvd. Missing: cellular phone. Dec. 26.

Residential burglary, 1600 block of Sandy Pines Way. Missing: strong box, metal tackle box, 9mm Taurus revolver, 40 caliber Smith and Wesson revolver. Jan. 3.

Grand larceny, 2900 block of Prince of Wales Drive. Missing: compact disk player, 48 compact disks, two amplifiers and a sub-woofer tube. Jan. 7 or 8.

Grand larceny, 300 block of Princess Anne Crescent. Missing: radar detector and a Craftsman socket set. Jan. 8.

Grand larceny, 2800 block of Meadow Wood Drive. Missing: compact disk player and credit cards. Jan. 7.
