Ray A. Conner, Chesapeake's commissioner of the revenue, has been elected first vice president of the Virginia Commissioners of the Revenue Association for 1995.
The election was held in Virginia Beach during the association's 75th annual convention.
Conner was also chosen as the group's legislative co-chairman for the current session of the Virginia General Assembly.
He has served Chesapeake in various capacities for about 20 years, having first been appointed a magistrate in 1975. He has been in his present office since Aug. 1, 1983. by CNB
