Lawrence L. Sutton, a 25-year resident of Virginia Beach, has been selected to chair the 1995 Neptune Festival. He succeeds Daniel N. Ryan, the 1994 chairman.
Sutton is president of Hoffman Beverage Co., vice president of Hoffland Properties and president of S&R Transport Co. He also serves on the boards of all three businesses.
He serves as a director for the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Hampton Roads, sits on the Old Dominion University Intercollegiate Foundation Board of Trustees and is active in a wide variety of other civic and charitable organizations.
Sutton will oversee all operations of the 16-day festival which attracts thousands of visitors to the resort area each fall. This year's Neptune Festival will run from Sept. 8 through Oct. 1. ILLUSTRATION: Sutton
