Alice Joyce Dix Goodwin, 57, of the 400 block of Dundaff St., died Jan. 26, 1995, in Norfolk.
She was born in Richmond, Va., where her mother, Mrs. W. Kerns Dix, and close family friends currently reside.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. A. Ray Goodwin of Norfolk; two daughters, Jacquelyn Paige Goodwin of Norfolk and Lynn Goodwin Smith of Virginia Beach; and brother, William K. Dix Jr. of Raleigh, N.C. Other survivors include son-in-law, Russell L. Smith of Virginia Beach; sister-in-law, Barbara G. Dix, and niece, Christy A. Smith, both of Raleigh, N.C.
A memorial service conducted by Dr. Tim Dixon, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Talbot Park Baptist Church, 6919 Granby St, Norfolk. A private graveside service will be held in Richmond. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Talbot Park Baptist Church.
