TED J BUSH

Ted J Bush, 72, of the 300 block of Worthington Square, died Jan. 25, 1995, in the Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

Cdr. Bush, a native of Portland, Ore., was a reporter for the Navy Times. He was retired from the U.S. Naval Reserve as a Commander after 26 years of service, and was a veteran of three wars. He had formerly taught at the University of Oregon, the University of Florida, the University of Idaho and the University of West Virginia. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.

Survivors include his wife, Anne Acton Bush; two daughters, Anne Bush Elder of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Julia Dexter Bush of Springfield, Va.; four sons, Ted J Bush Jr. of Berryville, Va., CWO2 John Clark Bush, USNR of Warrington, Va.; Allan Acton Bush of Yellowstone Park, Wyo., and William Acton Bush of Alexandria, Va.; and four grandsons.

Funeral service and burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Friends may join the family from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Foster Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Burn Hospitals.
