Ruth Clarke Hall, 81, died Jan. 25, 1995.
She was a native of Isle of Wight County and a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church, its Senior Choir, Senior Missionary Circle, Willing Workers, Wisteria Elk Temple (NU)545, past state president, and Tidewater past Daughter Rulers Council.
Survivors include three grandchildren; five nieces; five nephews; and many cousins and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mount Sinai Baptist Church, Ivor, by the Rev. H.R. Maynor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today in Pretlow and Chapman Funeral Home, Smithfield. The Elk Service will be held at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Saturday. The family will assemble at the residence at noon Saturday.
