TWO CHOSEN TO HEAD ISLE OF WIGHT BOARD

Malcolm T. ``Mac'' Cofer, representing the Smithfield District, was named chairman of the county Board of Supervisors on Thursday.

Carrsville District representative Phillip A. Bradshaw was elected co-chairman.

Cofer, 51, is a Smithfield insurance executive with his own agency. He was elected to the board in 1991 and will be up for re-election in November. Cofer also represents Isle of Wight County as chairman of the Southeastern Public Service Authority.

Bradshaw, 38, is an accountant at Union Camp Corp. He was elected to the board in 1993, replacing his father, Joel C. Bradshaw, who had served as a supervisor for 18 years. by CNB
