How does that saying go? Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it? Yet with the 50-year anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, there seem to be strange, even embarrassing similarities between modern-day America and Nazi Germany.
For example:
Both nations were seeking a final solution for the disposal of their unwanted individuals.
Both nations turned to their elite medical communities for the design and execution of this solution.
Both used vast amounts of government funds to finance their solution.
Both made vast attempts to keep their solution as secret as possible.
Both nations regarded their victims as ``less than human.''
All victims were weak and silent.
Both nations created so many victims, at such a rapid speed, that even experts only can guess at their running total.
In America, approximately 4,400 abortions are performed every day. Best estimates say that since the passage of Roe vs. Wade, 25 million to 30 million children have lost their lives to ``our final solution.''
I'm afraid that if there are members of the Nazi Party rotting in hell, we Americans have a spot reserved very close to them.
