James Sydney Cobb Jr., 84, of Church St., died Jan. 26, 1995, in his home.
A native of Craigsville, Va., he was the son of the late Rev. James Sydney Cobb Sr. and Agnes Alvis Cobb and the widower of Virginia Wills Bailey Cobb. He was a member of Windsor Baptist Church and was a retired welder with Union Camp.
Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Virginia Smith of Kalamazoo, MI; two sons, J. Len Cobb of Richmond and Charles S. Cobb of Cary, N.C.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in Holly Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. James B. Crocker. The family will be at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Rescue Squad, 19 E. Windsor Blvd., Windsor, Va. 23487.
