FRANS ERIC JENS

Frans Eric Jens, 76, of the 8000 block of Carlton St., a retired FAA air traffic controller at Patrick Henry Airport, died Jan. 26, 1995.

Mr. Jens was born in the Dutch East Indies. He was a Protestant by faith and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia L. Jens, of Norfolk; one son, Frans Eric ``Rick'' Jens of Richmond, Va.; one sister, Daisy Boyd of Rockbridge, Va; one brother, Karl T. Jens Jr. of Orange Grove, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 4:30 p.m., at Third Presbyterian Church, 8065 Carlton St., Norfolk by the Rev. Steven Cronn and Frans E. ``Rick'' Jens. The family will receive friends at the residence following the service. Memorial contrtibutions may be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
