Geneva Pearl Wetherington, 72, died Jan. 27, 1995, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Wetherington was a native of Tuscarora, N.C.
Survivors include her husband, William E. Wetherington; two daughters, Barbara Pigott and Deborah Johnson; two sons, William R. Wetherington and Gregory Wetherington; one brother, Paxton Humphrey of Newbern, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, Jan. 29, 1995 at 2 p.m. in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. by Mr. Leon Koontz. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Gideons International.
