GEORGE C. LINDAUER JR.

George Christian Lindauer Jr., 72, of the 3400 block of Scott St., died Jan. 27, 1995, in Portsmouth.

Mr. Lindauer was a native of Portsmouth and the widow of June A. Lindauer. He was a retired gas station attendant and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Hurst of Portsmouth; three sisters, Bobbie Thompson, Gertrude Smith and Martha Hewitt, all of Portsmouth; one brother, Cliff Lindauer of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, Jan. 30, 1995 at 11 a.m. in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel is handling arrangements.
