The number of nonfarm jobs in the region increased 2.7 percent, or 16,700, to 629,300 in November 1994, the Virginia Employment Commission said. Meanwhile, nonagricultural employment in Virginia reached an all-time high in November of 3.07 million. November was the third consecutive month of record nonfarm employment.
