MACARTHUR DINNER TONIGHT

The 27th annual Douglas MacArthur Chapter Memorial dinner will be held at tonight at 7 at the Fort Story Club.

A reception will be held at 6 p.m. Maj. Gen. David A. Whaley, commanding general of the U.S. Army Transportation Center and commandant of the U.S. Army Transportation School and chief of transportation at Fort Eustis, will speak. Cost is $20 per person.

The dinner is held each year in memory of MacArthur, who was born in Little Rock, Ark., on Jan. 26, 1880, but who called Norfolk his chosen home.
