Edouard Poliquin, 79, of the 600 block of Milburne Dr., died Friday, Jan. 27, 1995, in a Norfolk hospital. He was born in Canada.
Mr. Poliquin was retired from C. & P. Telephone Co. as a supervisor, after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Catholic Church of the Ascension in Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Ruth Minter Poliquin; a number of brothers and sisters; a niece, Ruth ``Penny'' Johnston Griffith of Margate, Fl; a nephew, Richard Wise Johnston of N.Y., N.Y., two great nieces, Blair E. Griffith of Boone, N.C. and Page V. Griffith of Coconut Creek, Fla.; and two great nephews, Brian F. Griffith of Blowing Rock, N.C. and Kevin T. Griffith of Margate, Fla.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Monday, Jan. 30, 1995, at 2 p.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Father James Parke. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
