James Louellyn Newcomb Sr., 79, of the 1600 block of Drummond Ave., a retired ship welder, died Jan. 26, 1995, in Panama City.
Mr. Newcomb was born in Mecklinburg, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth B. Newcomb; three daughters, Mary Lou Umphlet of Slidell, La., Lizabeth Berry of Newport Richey, Fla., and Rebecca Horrall of Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, Donald L. Newcomb of Gretna, La.; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, James Louellyn Newcomb Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Riverside Memorial Park. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
