Mary Ruth Bryant, 48, of the 1500 block of Montserrado Place, a homemaker, died Jan. 26, 1995, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Bryant was born in Washington, N.C. She was a member of Holy Jerusalem, C.O.G.I.C., and the senior choir.
Survivors include two sons, Andre P. Bryant and Anthony Lee Bryant; four sisters, Shirley A. Peele, Arletha Fuller, Brenda D. Drewitt and Madge Lee Mabine; two brothers, Jesse L. Bryant Jr. and Billy Ray Bryant, all of Norfolk; and five grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Letha Mae Bryant and Jesse Lee Bryant.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Jerusalem, C.O.G.I.C., by the Rev. Q. Barton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A wake will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hale Funeral Home. Family will assemble at 1227 W. Little Creek Rd., Apt. (NU)4.
