Harry F. ``Scottie'' Scott, 74, of the 1100 block of Mount Vernon Ave., a retired truck driver, died Jan. 26, 1995 in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.
Mr. Scott was born in Southampton County, Va. He retired from the city of Portsmouth after 25 years, was a former member of Third Baptist Church and Club DePorres, Portsmouth.
Survivors include his wife, Ella O. Scott; a daughter, Barbara J. Weathers of Portsmouth; a foster son; four grandchildren; one aunt; several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and cousins; a host of friends; and three devoted friends, Walter Martin, Julia Finney and Louise O. Harris.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. Leon J. Boone. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
