A 46-year man has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor sexual battery stemming from incidents involving two teenagers.
Wayne Lloyd of the 4400 block of Lindenwood Court was arrested Friday afternoon. He was freed on bond pending trial.
Lloyd is the administrator of the sexually transmitted disease unit of the Norfolk Health Department. Police said the alleged assaults did not occur in connection with his job.
The parents of the victims - ages 14 and 15 - filed the charges, alleging that the girls were fondled last May and June.
