CURTIS PEEBLES

Curtis Peebles, 77, formerly of Portsmouth, a retired plasterer, died Jan. 26, 1995.

Mr. Peebles was born in Portsmouth. He was a former member of St. John Baptist Church and member of Bethel Holy Church, New York City.

Survivors include his wife, Pearl Bell Peebles of New York City; two daughters, Minister Molly Daniels of New York City and Belinda Washington of California; a son, Curtis Craig Peebles of California; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Ernest Daniels of New York City; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Peebles and Alma Peebles, both of Portsmouth; aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. John Baptist Church by the Rev. John E. Jones. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will assemble at 2700 Frederick Blvd. for the processional.
