Carmen Yvette Buhl, 36, of the 300 block of 26th St., died Jan. 28, 1995, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
She was a native of Plainview, Texas. Mrs. Buhl was retired from the U.S. Navy after 14 years of service and was a member of the Virginia Beach Vineyard Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include her husband, Brent P. Buhl; a daughter, Ansley Jordan Buhl; a son, Alexander Garrett Buhl, all of Virginia Beach; her mother, Freda M. Longenecker of Hershey, Pa.; her father, Donald Sudduth of Portofino, Calif.; two sisters, Bari D. Anderson of Mountainview, Calif. and Gina Lynn Marcucci of Hershey, Pa.; her paternal grandmother, Ruby Glenn of Plainview, Texas; a stepsister, Kathy Wolgemuth of Covington, Pa.; two stepbrothers, Robert Longenecker and David Longenecker, both of Hershey, Pa.
The family would like to thank all of her many friends for their prayers and kindness shown to them at this difficult time.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1995, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hermitage Foundation, 7637 North Shore Road, Norfolk. Memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Beach Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 317 Birchwood Park Drive, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
