LAURA S. BROOKS

Laura Swift Brooks, 30, of the 1000 block of Brandon Road, died Jan. 30, 1995, in a local hospital.

She was born in Richmond and was an Episcopalian.

Survivors include a son, Joseph Mitchell Hyskell of Virginia Beach; her mother, Elisabeth Hunter Brooks and her father, Amsbry Mitchell Brooks, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Nina Fell Brooks and a brother, Robert Hunter Brooks, both of Virginia Beach; a niece, Margot Nicolle Valenzuela of Virginia Beach.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Galilee Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach, by the Rev. Russell C. Burchard, the Rev. John H. Jordan and the Rev. Boston Lackey. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
