Otho McKinley Strickland, 67, died Jan. 28, 1995, in Hertford, N.C.
Mr. Strickland was a native of Johnson County, N.C. He was retired as a master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
Survivors include his mother, Lucretia Paul Burgess of Hertford, N.C.; four sisters, Marie S. Hendry of Wilmington, Del., Carolyn S. James of Portsmouth, Louise S. Sawyer of Hertford, N.C., and Nancy S. Hartung of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Gene V. Primm. Burial will be in Hampton National Cemetery.
