BENNIE R. WILEY SR.

Bennie R. Wiley Sr., 97, died Jan. 29, 1995 in his residence.

Mr. Wiley was born in Pittsylvania County, Va. and was a retired paint contractor. He was predeceased by a son, William R. Wiley, and his wife, Julie E. Wiley preceded him in death by only 26 days.

Survivors include four daughters, Elsie Patrick of Norfolk, Carolina Bloodworth, Virginia Price, and Barbara Winfree, all of Virginia Beach; four sons, John A. Wiley of Chesapeake, Garthen R. Wiley of Norfolk, Edward Wiley of Lynchburg, and Ben R. Wiley Jr. of Virginia Beach; 25 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1995 at 2 p.m. by Pastor Ernest L. Trueblood and Pastor M.L. Bloodworth in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Parkway Temple Penticostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 601 Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake, Va. 23320 or to the American Cancer Society.
