Joseph William Jenkins, 79, of the 900 block of London Blvd., died Jan. 29, 1995, in Portsmouth.
He was born in Portsmouth and retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan L. DiGirolamo of Chesapeake; a sister, Betty Jenkins Twine of Chesapeake; two grandchildren, Zayne L. Kennedy and Thomas A. Gay II, both of Chesapeake; and one great-grandchild, Mark Alan Kennedy of Chesapeake.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Oak Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth, by the Rev. Willis Switzer. Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
