Mary Ward Sykes Huffler, 65 of Mt. Solon, Va., died Jan. 30, 1995, in Harrisonburg, Va. Born on July 8, 1929, in Elizabeth City, N.C., daughter of the late Rev. E. W. and Cassie L. Ward. Had been employed by R. W. Hudgins and Son and Seaport Supply Corporation.
First husband, Cecil Hugh Sykes Sr. preceded her in death on March 16, 1974.
She married Earl D. Huffler on Nov. 23, 1987, who survives.
Also surviving one son, two daughters, two brothers, one sister, one stepson, one stepdaughter, ten grandchildren, one great grandson.
Graveside services will be held Memorial Park, Norfolk. Visitation will be held at Francis A. Gay Funeral Home Thursday between the hour of 7 and 8 p.m.
