Mrs. Susan Grunewald Russo, 68, died Tuesday, January 31, 1995 at Tuomey Regional Medical Center.
Born in Norfolk, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Philip Howell and Susan Hodges Armstead Grunewald. Mrs. Russo was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Arturo R. Russo; 4 sons, Dino R. Russo and Michael A. Russo, both of Sumter, Philip A. Russo and Frank J. Russo both of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 1 sister, Mary Wetzel of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 3 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 o'clock Friday morning in St. James Lutheran Church with the Reverend Tony Metze officiating. Interment will follow in the Sumter Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends at the Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday. Elmore-Hill-McCreight Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
