FONZY W. ADAMS

Fonzy Weiss ``Lee'' Adams, 30, of the 2100 block of Hampton Blvd., died Jan. 30, 1995, in Norfolk.

Mr. Adams was born in Portsmouth. He was a student at Old Dominion University.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Annie Adams and Thomas E. Adams of Moyock, N.C.; two sisters, Katherine Dawson of Tacoma, Wash., and V. Marie Turley of Waukegan, Ill.; three brothers, Howard Haithcock of Portsmouth, Danny R. Haithcock of Mississippi and Thomas W. Adams of San Antonio, Texas; and maternal grandmother, Virgie Shreves of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by the Rev. Philip J. Parker. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewater AIDS Crisis Task Force.
