WADE LEON RICKS

With great sorrow we report Mr. Wade Leon Ricks, 34, a well-loved and generous man of Port Orchard, Wash., died suddenly on Friday, Jan. 27, in his home.

Mr. Ricks grew up in Virginia. He learned his trade as a carpenter there and was well respected. He loved his family, enjoyed car racing, and truly savoured the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was creative and caring for others in need but the pain he bore was great. He follows his mother, Martha, his father, Lee, and sister, Pamela Ward in death.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Hernandez, brother-in-law, Francisco Hernandez, nephews, Nicholas and Christian, all of Bremerton, Wash.; his niece, Amy Ward of Chesapeake; two aunts and an uncle.
